Auction |

The auction committee is responsible for soliciting, collecting and displaying items for the auction. This year we will feature a silent auction as well as an on-line auction. The committee will set minimum prices and will be responsible for collecting money from the general auction and turning in those funds to the President/Director at the event's end. |

Decoration |

|
The decoration committee is responsible for establishing the decoration theme and for securing all items needed. They will also decorate all Celebrity Dance Showcase areas which include, but may not be limited to, Stage area, Auction area, Dessert area, & Foyer. This committee is responsible for tracking purchase costs of any decoration items (some of which, i.e. flowers, may be donated). Any expenses over $ 25.00 must be approved by President/Director. Receipts should be collected and turned in to President /Director for reimbursement when appropriate. |

Dessert Bar |

This committee is responsible for securing commitments for desserts, collection, and storage of all foods and for safely handling of food. They are responsible for securing beverages, coffee, punch, wine, etc. Finding servers for event, if necessary. They will be responsible for the setting up and labeling of all donated items, and for providing donation receipts or letters to participating donors. Any purchases must be approved by Director. Any expense receipts should be collected and turned in to the President /Director. |

Sponsorship |

Sponsorship committee is the primary source of identifying funding for the organization. If you are a people person, good on the phone, and are able to commit a few hours a week to assist us with the sponsorship process. Work with the sponsorship chair to identify potential sponsors and exhibitors. Contact and meet with potential sponsors at other community events. Sponsorships are akin to donations for the event. They may be dollars, door prizes, additional auction items, flowers, etc. Proper recognition of all sponsors is the responsibility of this committee. While this is an unpaid volunteer position, it will provide you with a great opportunity to make business/marketing contacts. |

Media / Advertising |

This committee will be responsible for maintaining media lists, writing press releases, writing letters, donor thank you notes, conducting and attending press conferences & special events. Additionally, this position involves administration and implementation assistance, event planning and the ability to design and create promotional materials. Must be able to use a variety of mediums to achieve artistic or decorative effects |
