Celebrity Dance Showcase "Lets Dance To Health"

The 2nd annual Celebrity Dance Showcase "Let’s Dance to Health" was a major fund raising initiative to raise monies for charities & non-profits that focus on improving the quality of life for others.  Another significant purpose is to expose and educate the community about these charities & non–profits. 

We, The Stars Come Out, Inc., are hopeful that you will continue to give, what you can, regularly to the charities and nonprofits that make a difference.

These were the ( 6 ) organizations selected by our celebrities.The Stars Come Out, Inc. funds are distributed to organizations that qualify as exempt under Section 501(c) (3).

The Coalition for a Tobacco Free Arkansas is a network of statewide organizations with a shared mission to prevent the use of tobacco in our state. The Coalition for a Tobacco Free Arkansas (CTFA)has worked since its inception in January 1992 to improve the health of Arkansans by waging a grassroots campaign to increase public awareness of the negative effects of tobacco use.

Camp Aldersgate is Arkansas’s only non-profit organization dedicated to serving children with disabilities, youths, and senior citizens in a camp environment. One of a few urban camps in the nation, Camp Aldersgate is situated on 120 wooded acres in the state’s largest city, Little Rock (Pulaski County).

The Daisy Bates House, in Little Rock ,Arkansas ,is significant for its use as a command post for those working to desegregate Little Rock Central High School 1957-1958. It was a sanctuary for the nine black students involved in the desegregation crisis. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 2001, the Bates home has been the focus of local preservationists who wanted it restored.
